1-on-1 Personal Training

My full attention for a full hour, on a plan rebuilt from what actually happened last session. From $95. No contract, no minimum term, no sign-up fee.

Strength, mobility, fat loss, general fitness, sport, or simply staying capable and independent as you get older — the session is built around what you can do right now, not what you think you should be able to do. You don't need to be in shape first. That's the job.

Three ways to pay for it

The training is identical in all three. The only difference is how you pay and how much each session ends up costing.

1. A single session — $95

The way almost everyone starts. Nothing to commit to: come train, see whether we work well together, decide after. You don't need to buy anything on this page — go to Book a Session, pick a time and pay there in one step.

2. A pack — good if your schedule is unpredictable

A block of sessions bought up front and used whenever you like. Packs last six months, so a busy stretch at work costs you nothing.

4-session pack $370 $92.50 each
8-session pack $722 $90.25 each
12-session pack $1,056 $88.00 each

3. A monthly membership — the lowest rate I offer

Better if you train consistently. Billed once a month, renews automatically, cancel any time.

4 sessions a monthAbout once a week $323/mo $80.75 each
8 sessions a monthAbout twice a week $616/mo $77.00 each
12 sessions a monthAbout three times a week $888/mo $74.00 each

Your sessions are a monthly pool, not a fixed weekly slot. "8 sessions a month" means eight sessions to use however suits you — four one week, one the next. They don't carry into the following month, so pick the number you'll realistically use. If you want sessions that last longer than a month, a pack is the better fit.

Where you train, and the off-site fee

The Fairfield studio is my primary space and the default. It never carries an extra charge — see the equipment list.

I also train at Focus Fitness Lab in downtown Lexington, and I can come to you.

  • Single sessions and packs off-site: a flat $25 per appointment at Focus Fitness Lab. It covers the drive and the other facility's own charge.
  • Off-site memberships: travel is built into the monthly rate, so there is no per-session fee at all — $405, $780 or $1,134 a month for 4, 8 or 12 sessions. If you train off-site every week this is almost always cheaper, and the bill is one predictable number.
  • At your own place: the fee depends on how far out you are. Tell me where you are and we'll agree it before you book.

What comes with it

  • Your analytics dashboard — included free with a membership. Estimated 1-rep max, training volume, personal records and recovery trends, with flags when you're progressing, plateauing or pushing too hard. For single-session and pack clients it's $15 a month.
  • A participation agreement arrives by email as soon as you book. It doubles as your health intake, takes a couple of minutes, and you only do it once. It needs signing before your first session — not before you're allowed to book one.
  • 24 hours' notice to cancel. Cancel earlier than that and it costs you nothing; the session goes straight back into your balance.

Training with a friend or spouse works out cheaper — see semi-private training. The full rules on packs, memberships, cancellations and the off-site fee are on How It Works, and every option is side by side on Ways to Train.
